The oldest living things, some have been dated to more than 4000 years old, as old as the pyramids. our perception of time changes as we age,it seems to accelerate, the years go by quicker and quicker. if these trees have any awareness, summer and winter must be passing them by like day and night to us.

Around this time last year the king of pop passed away, a man who despite personal problems had a profound influence on popular music. I'm referring of course to sky saxon, lead singer and creative force behind the seeds, purveyors of primitive garage rock. In the late sixties, an era when musicianship was important, they were the barbarians at the gates, three chord morons just kicking out the jams, here is their masterpiece, pushing too hard, it's gassy.
